Rennes, France, March 28, 2023 — Today, the popular Hercules DJControl Inpulse line reached its crescendo, with the DJ hardware company proudly announcing the addition of all-new Serato DJ MK2 comes with a features refresh, added software compatibility, and exactly the same explosive price point.

Joining the Hercules DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2 and the Hercules DJControl Inpulse 500, the little brother of the family, the DJControl Inpulse 200 MK2 will now work natively with Serato DJ, including plug-n-play compatibility with Serato DJ Lite,, and one-touch functionality via a built-in Stems pad-mode.
New DJs can now learn to mix using the world’s most popular mixing software on an updated entry-level controller at an un-updated entry-level price of $129.99 USD / £99.99.

The controller will first be shown at NAMM from April 13-15, and Hercules will officially start taking preorders Friday, May 19, with worldwide commercial availability Tuesday, June 20, 2023.

 

A refreshed feature set
While the most exciting new update is the integration of Serato DJ compatibility, Hercules’ team of engineers and DJs have taken the opportunity to completely refresh the product’s design and functionality, with major upgrades to the hardware itself:

Improved jog wheels: high resolution jog wheels with clear, vinyl-like grooves offer a smoother and more dexterous rotation for more efficient scratching and track browsing. Loop and Stems functions: loop buttons have been updated on each deck, plus on-pad Stems mode, Hot Cue, FX and Sampler functions, expanding the simplicity of one-touch creative mixing.
Premium look and : improved pads with minimal numbering markings, and even brighter streamlined markings on the top casing for enhanced visibility and comfort, allowing new DJs to quickly acclimate to a standardized controller layout and feeling.
Multiple Learn-to-DJ features: like Hercules’ entire Inpulse line, the DJControl Inpulse 200 MK2 features light-up LED Beatmatch guides to help first-time DJs master the art of manually matching tempo and beat, plus the Intelligent Music Assistant and ENERGY features to help manage the party mood and pick the perfect next track.
Compatible software options: users can choose their favorite DJ software to mix with, as both Hercules’ proprietary DJUCED® and Serato DJ Lite software are included.

DJ Academy: In addition to the existing seven-day course for learning to mix on the DJControl Inpulse 200 with DJUCED, Hercules will expand their DJ Academy library of educational videos to include Tips and Tricks videos that let users explore Serato and the new features of their DJControl Inpulse 200 MK2.

Official Music: Hercules continues to offer a full service to new DJs, including a platform of free royalty-free tracks on their website, updated seasonally and now offering new DJs a library of literally hundreds of royalty-free tracks to learn with or to create worry-free videos and livestreams.
