HERCULES DJCONTROL INPULSE 300 NOW SUPPORTS SERATO

HERCULES ANNOUNCES DJCONTROL INPULSE 300 MK2, COMPATIBLE WITH SERATO DJ: THE MOST FULL-FEATURED CONTROLLER TO START DJING

Anaheim, California, June 2, 2022 — Buoyed by the success of its DJControl Inpulse range, Hercules is proud to be teaming up with Serato to release a new version of its best-selling DJControl Inpulse 300 controller: DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2. Hercules will be launching its brand-new DJ controller with an exclusive sneak preview at the NAMM Show — the international music industry trade show — in Anaheim, California from June 3–5.

Following on from the worldwide success of Hercules DJControl Inpulse 300, Serato DJ will be arriving on the new version of the controller in order to offer an even more creative, simpler solution for learning how to mix — thanks to the Beatmatch guide, a highly-innovative feature developed by Hercules’ teams.

Opening up DJing to everyone
Working together, Hercules and Serato are bringing a new dimension to the world of DJing for users keen to get started with the world’s leading DJ software — and focus on the importance of really training their ears, to become true DJs.

Light guides are built directly into the controller to help users learn the proper moves they need to make to mix, and master the techniques involved in beatmatching:

Tempo faders: LED arrows are located alongside each tempo fader, allowing users to easily adjust tracks’ BPM manually.
Beat Align guides: LED arrows are also located underneath each jog wheel, to guide users through lining up tracks with one another and making sure that their transitions are perfectly synced.

A better scratching feel
DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2 has also improved its jog wheels: the new wheels are slimmer, with smoother rotation, and feature a larger touch-detection area. They’re absolutely perfect for scratching.

More comfortable to use than ever
The controller’s rubber pads have been improved as well: they feature only minimal numbering markings, for an even brighter backlighting area and enhanced visibility.

We’ve been working with Hercules since 2015 and are thrilled to be involved with the new version of their controller,” notes Nick Maclaren, Chief Strategy Officer at Serato. “The DJControl Inpulse controllers are perfect for DJs who are taking their first steps into the world of mixing and the new DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2 will help to develop the next generation. It’s extremely important to Serato to encourage users who want to get started DJing and we’re delighted to be able to do that with Hercules.

For those visiting the NAMM Show in person, there will be exciting DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2 demos at the Hercules booth (Hall A – #10622), as well as at the booth of its U.S. distributor American Music & Sound (Hall A – #11113), with experts from both Hercules and Serato on hand for a complete experience.

Hercules has scheduled a full reveal of DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2 for September 22, at which point it will also open up preorders.
In Europe, the suggested retail price is €199.99/£179.99.
