The first product in this category is the HWUm-300 USB Wi-Fi key, the smallest 802.11n Wi-Fi certified USB adapter available on the market!

Miniature in size...
The device’s extremely compact size (only 3.5 x 1.5 x 0.5 cm - only 2.2 cm sticking out from the computer) makes it the ideal solution for bringing wireless freedom to laptop computers. Lightweight and discrete, it can follow users anywhere. Its flat design leaves the USB ports located above or beneath the port to which it is connected entirely accessible: a genuine advantage compared to standard Wi-Fi keys, which are far larger and more cumbersome.

Featuring two built-in antennas (one emission antenna and two reception antennas), the new Wi-Fi USB key by Hercules guarantees bandwidths up to 300 Mbps, i.e. 5.5 times greater than those defined by Wi-Fi 802.11g standards. This technology ensures 802.11n certification by the Wi-Fi Alliance and makes the Hercules HWUm-300 the only Wi-Fi N certified key available on the market, in addition to being the only key to guarantee optimum compatibility and operation with all available Wi-Fi 11n devices and Wi-Fi G modems and boxes - a truly reassuring feature for consumer audiences!

True to its "Wi-Fi made simple" philosophy, Hercules has made a point of making this mini-key as simple as possible: the built-in WPS button allows users to instantly create a secure network connection, at the press of a button. The installation guide available in 8 languages guides users step by step throughout the Wi-Fi Internet connection setup process. The Hercules Wi-Fi Station N software, available in English (and in 7 other languages), enables users to manage all the key’s advanced features. Multimedia data transfer priorities are managed by the Wi-Fi Multimedia technology. Maximum data security is guaranteed thanks to WPA and WPA2 encryption.
