09/27/2012 - Hercules unveils latest headphones designed for DJs and music enthusiasts

Hercules presents its new HDP DJ-Adv G401 headphones

London, 27 September 2012 - Hercules, the DJing and computer audio expert, is completing the line of headphones unveiled last Christmas. The latest model, the HDP DJ-Adv G401, is targeted at amateur DJs and provides:

- Perfect audio fidelity and pleasant and powerful sound

- Flawless sound insulation and comfort

The headphones feature all the ingredients required to meet the demands of DJs, and more generally, music enthusiasts.

Stylish and trendy, the HDP DJ-Adv G401 headphones feature a mechanical design very similar to Hercules’ professional model, the HDP DJ-Pro M1001, and the HDP DJ-Adv G501. The HDP DJ-Adv G401 circumaural closed-back headphones’ silhouette traces a continuous curve from one earpiece to the other, avoiding pressure on the user’s head, while at the same time perfectly shielding the DJ from external sounds. It is suited to both large and smaller heads, and causes no strain in the event of prolonged use.

The earpieces rotate around 3 axes, enabling DJs to preview their mix with one ear or to fold the headphones away, for convenient storage and transport.

Designed for previewing and mixing, the HDP DJ-Adv G401 offers a frequency response ranging from 15 Hz to 22 kHz - an audio spectrum wide enough to gauge tracks precisely and hone last-second settings before airing the music to the audience.

The 50 mm diameter drivers produce clear sounds, with precise and deep bass; they are ideal for analyzing rhythms, but also for simply enjoying music.

Their low impedance (32 ohms) and high sensitivity (100 dB @ 1 mW) ensure powerful sound levels, enabling DJs to listen to tracks even in the loudest environments - for instance, next to PA system speakers.

The Hercules HDP DJ-Adv G401 will be available from late October 2012, at the suggested retail price of £ 59.99 inc. VAT.
